Chai tea latte style hot chocolate recipe, sweetness and comfort
You certainly know hot chocolate, but do you know the “chai latte” version of hot chocolate? It's a delicious variation on traditional hot chocolate, inspired by the spicy, fragrant flavors of chai tea. To prepare a chai latte-style hot chocolate, you generally incorporate spices such as cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom and sometimes black pepper into a mixture of hot milk and melted chocolate.
The result is a comforting drink with an exotic and warm touch. Some recipes including ours may also include prepared chai tea to further enhance the flavors of the chai. It's a perfect drink for cold winter days or when you want to treat yourself to a moment of sweetness and comfort.
Ingredients (2 people) of chai hot chocolate
- 40 cl of water
- 2 teaspoon chai mix
- 40 cl of vegetable milk
- 70 g of dark pastry chocolate
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar (optional)
Preparation (10 minutes) of chai hot chocolate
Pour the water and the chai into a saucepan, and boil for around ten minutes.
Add the dark chocolate pieces and the vegetable milk, then pour in the vanilla sugar (if you want a sweeter hot chocolate). Leave to infuse for 3 minutes and enjoy!
