Originally from India, the tamarind is appreciated by those who have difficulty in having a bowel movement. This bean-shaped fruit is indeed known for its laxative action.
Our tamarind juice is made with the seeds found in the hollow of the tamarind pods. These seeds are organically grown.
The tamarind tree has large evergreen leaves. In summer, it is covered with clusters of small yellow flowers.
Its edible fruits, also called "Indian date" (tamar indi), are large and thick bumpy pods that contain seeds coated with a fibrous pulp. It is moreover this one which is interesting for the transit. Depending on the maturity of the tree from which it comes, the flavor of its fruit can be sweet, acid or pungent.
2 tablespoons in the morning, equivalent to 30 ml.
For 30 ml: Aqueous extract of Tamarind fruit* 3 g (fruit equivalent 12 g), glycerin, citric acid
