Description

Triphala is surely the most known and most used remedy in Ayurvedic medicine. Also known as Triphala churna, Triphala choorna or Triphala churnam, each of the 3 berries that compose it (Amla, Haritaki and Bibhitaki) stimulate and regulate the intestinal transit. Many people suffer from constipation problems and this Ayurvedic formula allows to fight naturally against this common inconvenience. This complex is also an effective support of digestion and elimination of waste and toxins, present in particular in the liver. It intervenes in the cleaning of the walls of the colon and allows a better assimilation of nutrients. Its virtues allow him to contribute in a natural way to the loss of weight.

Zoom on the properties of Triphala

This ayurvedic formula is called Tridoshic: it allows to balance the three doshas: Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

Amla or Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) is known to promote good gastrointestinal health and allow a pleasant digestion. It is also a natural antioxidant, which balances the Pitta dosha.

Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) helps to balance and maintain the regularity of elimination thanks to its laxative virtues and its action on the elimination of toxins. This berry is also anti-inflammatory and calms the Vata dosha.

Finally, Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica), also known as "the one that keeps disease away", promotes the elimination of toxins, purifies the blood, regulates mucus production and reduces the accumulation of lipids in the intestines. This berry is particularly effective in balancing the Kapha dosha.
