Banana and Bilva milkshake recipe for a sweet and exoticism break
Among the great classics of sweet recipes, the banana milkshake is surely one of the most popular and, above all, the easiest to make.
To give it a touch of originality, we've chosen to add an Ayurvedic spice: bilva.
So enjoy a well-being and sweet break with a touch of exoticism with this banana/bilva milkshake.
What is Bilva?
Bilva is a small Indian fruit with a taste reminiscent of citrus and cinnamon.
It gives a pleasant aroma to sweet preparations such as banana milkshakes, teas and cakes (cookies, chocolate fondant, etc.).
Ingredients (1 person) for banana milkshake
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons bilva
- 500 ml plant milk
- 2 ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation time (10 minutes) for the banana milkshake with bilva
Pour the plant milk of your choice, ice cubes and liquid vanilla extract into a blender. Blend until smooth.
Cut the banana into large chunks and add them to the blender.
Add 2 tablespoons of Bilva. Close the blender and blend again.
If the mixture is too thick for your taste, add a little plant milk.
