Golden milk with turmeric: the drink to be in great shape
Golden milk is a hot drink made from milk mixed with turmeric and usually other spices. This drink takes its name from its golden color, obtained thanks to turmeric.
Golden milk is known to reduce inflammation, strengthen the immune system and improve digestion. It is considered a digestive tonic in the Ayurvedic tradition and therefore could be beneficial in supporting Agni (digestive fire).
We advise you to drink a glass of your golden milk every morning for greater effectiveness, spices are not recommended in the evening as they are too stimulating.

Preparing a turmeric paste
For this recipe you will first prepare a turmeric paste which you can leave in the refrigerator for up to 1 month in a tightly closed glass container.
To do this, mix the turmeric powder in a saucepan, with the trikatu (ginger and 2 peppers) and 125 ml of water. Cook over low heat, stirring until you obtain a homogeneous and thick paste (about 5 minutes). Then pour your preparation into a glass container.
Preparation of golden milk
Mix in a saucepan, the vegetable milk (it can be replaced by water), the coconut oil and a teaspoon of turmeric paste (to be measured according to the desired intensity).
If you want to sweeten the preparation, you can add maple syrup or honey.
Heat everything for 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat. It is important not to boil it.
Your golden milk is ready, all you have to do is enjoy it!
